HOW TO GET TO VILLAS LAS FLORES . . . |

Finding Villas Las Flores is easy, whether you travel by car, bus, plane, taxi, or van. Follow these directions if you’re driving from the San Jose airport:
1. As you leave the airport, follow the signs to San Ramon.
2. Take the right-hand exit for Atenas.
3. Drive through Atenas and then through San Mateo and Orotina (you actually skirt Orotina.)
4. Follow the signs to Jaco, Parrita, and Quepos, bypassing Jaco and continuing to Parrita.
5. Drive through the village, crossing the Parrita River over a steel bridge.
6. About 100 yards beyond the bridge, turn right and follow signs for Villas Las Flores, Hotel La Isla, and Beso Del Viento. In about 2.5 miles, you’ll arrive at the

Nestled between Nicaragua and Panama, Costa Rica is flanked by the Caribbean Ocean on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west. Its topography varies from seashore to 10,000-foot mountains.
Costa Rica has set aside over 20 percent of its territory as biological preserve or national park. This tropical paradise is home to over 800 species of birds... as well as to 35,000 permanent U.S. residents!
Parrita, a small working-class town, straddles the Parrita River about 2.5 miles inland from Villas Las Flores. The town and Villas lie on the Pacific coast, about halfway between Jaco and Manuel Antonio National Parks.
For those without wheels, transportation is available to and from Parrita. If you prefer a bit of exercise, you can use the Villas Las Flores bicycles.
There are several eating establishments on the beach, a 3- to 4-minute walk from the Villas. Parrita also has a number of good, reasonably priced restaurants. Quepos and Manuel Antonio offer a multitude of excellent restaurants.
